Morning surgeries

From 8.30am you can ‘walk-in’ to book an appointment to be seen or receive a telephone call that day; demand is very high at the moment so we are booking most appointments on the day to see a doctor or advanced clinical practitioner. We do have a small number of pre-bookable appointments with all clinical staff which are available to pre-book up to 4 weeks in advance.

We also accept telephone requests to book morning appointment slots again on the day.

Afternoon surgeries

Appointments to see the doctor of your choice can be made by telephone or at the reception desk. Again due to demand these may not be available for a few days so please be patient.

Evenings, Monday to Friday and Weekends

We are part of a scheme which is funded by the 27 practices in North Kirklees where patients from all the practices are able to book an appointment to see a doctor (male or female) at Dewsbury Health Centre at the times below.

6.30pm – 9.30pm Monday to Friday

9am – 4pm on Saturdays

9am – 1pm on Sundays.

We also offer telephone appointments on Saturday morning with our Advanced Clinical Clinician. Face to face appointments are available each Saturday morning with our Practice Nurse.

Appointments for medication reviews are available on Saturday afternoons.

All the Saturday appointments can be booked in advance.
